Instructions for Life

1. Take into account that great love and great achievement involve great risk.

2. When you lose, don't lose the lesson.

3. Follow the three R's:
A. Respect for self
b. Respect for others
c. Responsibility for all your actions

4. Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful blessing in itself.

5. Know the rules so you know how to break them properly.

6. Don't let a little dispute injure a great relationship

7. When you know you have made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it. This shows responsibility for one's own actions.

8. Spend some time alone each day being thankful to our creator.

9. Open arms to change, but do not let go of your values.

10. Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer.

11. Live a good, honorable life. That way, when you get older and think back, you'll be able to enjoy them again.

12. A loving atmosphere in your home is the foundation for your life, be honest with yourself and your spouse/loved ones.

13. In disagreement's with loved ones, deal only with the current situation. Don't bring up the past.

14. Share your knowledge.

15. Be gentle with the earth that sustains our physical bodies, pollutants not only destroy her but us as well.

16. Once a year, go someplace you have never been before

17. Remember that the best relationship is one in which your love for each other exceeds your need for each other.

18. Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.

19. Approach love and cooking with reckless abandon.

20. Be faithful in keeping promises to your helpmate, s/he is a blessed gift to be thankful for on a daily basis.

21. Make special time throughout the week for the ones you love, as they are who we fellowship with. All the others are there to be taught or to be teachers for a season.

22. Creator owns, and we manage. Be financially free of debts or creditors, if you don't have it, it's not yours to spend.

23. Our job here on the earth does not involve judging others as that job is taken. Be accountable by minding what you need to accomplish, walk your path and let others walk their path.

24. Last, but not least... We do what we want to do, so don't place blame on others and don't accept burdens that are not ours; make good choices.
